Francesca Lin

I am a content creator and writer. I studied at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts and earned my BA in Theater and a Minor in Business. I also studied at Oxford University with the British American Drama Academy. I currently study at the Los Angeles Writers Center. I worked for more than 12 years at The Walt Disney Company, most recently as the Manager, Creative Brand & Development at Disney+ in the digital and social media content department. Previously with Disney, I was the Editor and Content Strategist for the Oh My Disney brand, managing the editorial site, appearing as a host on The Oh My Disney Show, and traveling to cover Disney press events, premieres, and films. I also was a Paralegal in the Disney legal department for many years, and began my time at Disney interacting with Guests as a Soda Jerk at Disney's Soda Fountain in Hollywood. I have performed in and directed numerous plays internationally including productions in Scotland (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Germany (International Shakespeare Festival), and Australia (Fringe World Festival Perth). My writing partner, Melissa Lyons, and I have written several children's plays together and published SHAKESPEARE FOR KIDS with Heartland Plays, Inc. I also wrote, produced, and performed my solo show called BEAN. The show was awarded Best of Hollywood Fringe. BEAN toured Australia where the Perth Now Sunday Times called BEAN a "Top Ten Pick" of the Fringe World festival.
