Cheryl Murphy

Art and story are my two passions. I heard the call as a child, drawing pictures and writing shorts. I went on to dive deep into art, as a painter and sculptor, and art teacher. I was a cofounder of The Menino Art Centre in Boston, Ma., and director for nine years.
The pandemic flipped the script, pun intended, to play with words. I have spent a great deal of time immersed in the fun of story creation as well as learning the necessary tools.
After writing articles, I published my first endeavor at a short story, The Story of Phillip Westover on Amazon. My script writing mirrors my viewing interests, drama, comedy, and thriller. I am inspired by life, bits and pieces of my own experience and constructs that are nothing if not interesting. I can not think of anything that absorbs my interest more.
