Fanely Gouguet

Laureate of the 2023 Film Fund Luxembourg’s writing grant to develop the concept of “A Baby, No Strings Attached”, its feature length screenplay has been long listed by Courage to Write grants in the US. Winner of the Act Bedford and Content Created 2022 competition, her 30-minute comedy, “No Filter”, was broadcasted as a radio play in the UK.

A conceptual copywriter by trade, advertising taught Fanély the power of bare language and visual thinking. She started off her writing journey with a middle-grade novel “Les Aventures de Philibert au Sri Lanka”, published in France by L’Harmattan in 2005 (still in print). As the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Regional Advisor, she sets up monthly literary events for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg (BENELUX).
