About Phil

Phil has a knack for excelling in nearly all genres. He received his Masters in Liberal Studies in Borders with an emphasis in Migration, Health & Cultural Identity from Arizona State University, a second Master's in Disaster Preparedness Leadership with a background in bioterrorism and pandemic response & preparedness. At ASU, he studied creative writing, film analysis, taboo in texts & visual texts, and personal essays. He currently resides in Arizona. His stories are a reflection of his travels, experiences, studies and imagination.

Phil enjoys writing on many genres, yet is drawn to social justice topics that often go overlooked. He has a Bachelor's in Social & Criminal Justice and creates ways for his screenplays to lend a voice to causes around the world. As a military policeman, Phil's responded to incidents, completed reports, .reviewed statements, collected evidence, and testified.

Unique traits: Fortunate to have done very well in competitions across various genres. I like helping writers in reading groups and finding something positive in nearly everything.
