Agents of a government research unit that invented a remote mind-mapping technology to use any living person as a surrogate to solve crimes are trying to find an inside man who is after them.

SYNOPSIS:

Government Defense Research Agency (DRA) has invented a mind-mapping technology that can insert for a short period of time the mind of an agent into any living soul to fight crimes. Unfortunately, the muse and misuse of the technology that they call PROJECT DEJAVU went beyond an official agenda. Now private corporations are hiring agents to alter the future of big corporate deals.

One of the agents, SAMUEL FOX (SAM) has to spend up to 30 days in the mind and body of some random executives or regular people to turn the luck in the much-needed direction for US-based corporations in signing deals or altering the decisions. His personal life in the real world is not that exciting. His wife took his house, kid, and pride. He’s always away, so the only living soul who answers his calls is his lawyer.

On the last assignment he meets the voice in the head – CONTROL operator – JULIA LEMONT (JULIA). She works at the Paris Control Station in a small room taking care of the agent in the field. The short communication windows that they had together made them closer.

After his last assignment he decides to get to Paris to meet with Julia, even though he never saw her, or doesn’t even know her address. All locations, names, everything is classified.

But on a day before another group of agents have been killed in the field. And if the recipient’s body dies before the mind of the agent is extracted, the agent in his capsule on the other side of the world dies as well. This happened to two agents on an assignment in Japan.

The company decides to cut the loose ends as they are being in the middle of a major breakthrough in their development. The head of the project, HARRY FISHER, and his boss, head of the DRA unit JANINE REDWOOD agree to wipe clean all the agents and control operators who were involved. A girl in Iceland is executed. Next is Julia.

Sam arrives in Paris right in time, he accidentally meets Julia an hour before two cleaners arrive to kill her. He helps her survive the attack. They hide at Sam’s friend’s house – RAJIV KAPUR – an ex DEJAVU designer and architect, now running an unlicensed DEJAVU shop in the middle of Paris.

RAJ helps them get new bodies. They go to Janine. Janine explains what happened and re-hired them to finish the Japanese gig. But something went haywire and now Sam is a hostage on the other side of the world. And the one who keeps him hostage – president of BlueShield Corporation, Mr. Joachim Heckler, seems to know more about the organization Janine is running.
