About Arly

Arly left her home in Spain at age fourteen and arrived in New York City. As a dancer, she trained at SAB and with Martha Graham in Manhattan. At age eighteen she moved to Los Angeles and shortly Arly began working with many talented people, such as Anthony Hopkins in a Barclays commercial, Michel Gondry, Tony Scott, and soon after became Mercury in the movie “Blade” with Wesley Snipes. She carried on in her career training more in her craft with Julie Ariola and Harry Mastrogeorge doing award-winning independent films. Working alongside Jeremy Renner. David Fincher on several occasions including, “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.
She had a lead role with Jean Reno in the film “Empire of the Wolves” and continued her career in Europe after giving birth to her daughter in France.
While being a mother, Arly continued on in the European market. She would select certain roles based on her time away from family and otherwise stay near home to raise her daughter. She still appeared in major French films like, “Les Regrets”, "Magma", “Haute Cuisine” and “L’exercice de L’etat” which won the FIPRESCI Award at Cannes in 2011. Arly shined on the screen in 2017 with her nomination for best supporting actress -with actor Karel Roden,- in the film “A Prominent Patient” elegantly portraying the famous American author Marsha Davenport from the early 20th century. The film has now received 20 Awards and 8 Nominations.
She dominated the screen in her bold performance in "Axolotl Overkill" as an intelligent, stoic female figure. She truly captivated audiences leaving them asking for more. Since then she has been highly acclaimed for her role in the film which won The Best Cinematography Award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2018. By 2018 Arly had a major role in the new media platform called Black Pills which got many positive reviews internationally. She starred in the season finale of "Sense 8" on Netflix as one of the strong revolutionary female power figures of 2018. Arly currently continues on strong in her craft, along with skills in writing and producing via her production company Baoba films, where she also collaborates with her husband, Blake Worrell. In the last 2 years, they have been an upcoming power couple. She has now finished writing the feature film "Tales of None" and a pilot for a series by the name "Letters from Afar". Arly will soon be searching for producers and collaboration for both projects.
