About Javier

Writer/DIrector living in Mexico City with film studies in Columbia College - Hollywood

Javier is an accomplished filmmaker and writer with a robust career spanning TV and film. After graduating from film school in Los Angeles, he returned to Mexico City, where he quickly established himself by writing and directing award-winning TV commercials.

With a wealth of experience writing for all the major Mexican networks—including Televisa, TV Azteca, MVS Multivision, and Canal Once— Javier has been instrumental in creating some of the highest-rated series in the country. His versatility and creativity extend to directing, having led the popular TV show "Estilo D.F." for E! Entertainment Television.

Beyond television, Javier has also made significant contributions to independent film across Mexico and Latin America, both as a writer and director. His projects include the short film "Karma," which was an official selection at numerous film festivals, and the documentary "Acapulco 68," which was acquired and released by ADN40.

Currently, Javier is expanding his repertoire in the horror genre, having recently optioned a screenplay and entered pre-production for a new movie set to be shot in Cancun.
