David Pisani

David is an award-winning independent filmmaker who began his film career in 2011 after studying film editing in New York City. He served as the editor of an independent feature film, Isn't It Delicious, which screened at more than fifteen film festivals winning several awards. He then began teaching Creative Filmmaking at a private school in Connecticut and focused his personal creative efforts on writing screenplays. He was named one of seven finalists in the Jameson First Shot screenplay competition. David has directed several short format projects over the years and his most ambitious project to date "Philadelphia Bound" was completed in the spring of 2023. It was awarded "Best Dramatic Short Film" at the 2024 Albany Film Festival. He is now in pre-production to direct a feature length film with production scheduled for summer of 2026.
