About Calvin
I'm a screenwriter living in eastern Canada under the guise of a Construction Labourer. I've been writing scripts for over a decade, graduated from film school and done a couple of shorts on my YouTube channel "bowwoo". I gained the most recognition as an editor of video game streams that resulted in roughly 1 million views, so far, in a span of 3 months.
My scripts have scored high on The Blacklist, and I have been to the quarterfinals three times in a row in the BlueCat Screenplay competition. I would compare my style of writing to Joel & Ethan Coen, Martin McDonagh, Kevin Smith and Taylor Sheridan. I draw from real life events, some personal, and put it on a page in the form of therapy. I also like to take genre staple plots and add fresh twists to them.
