About Pauline

ANGELENO WITH A BROOKLYN HEART

Brooklyn-born, Pauline Gray is a graduate of the University of Bristol Film School. Her love of writing and academic achievements has taken her to the London School of Economics and Bristol in the UK as a Marshall Scholar.

Her writing has also led her around the world as an Artist-In-Residence. Her residences have ranged from Aspen, Colorado to Northern Germany.

Pauline is an award-winning screenwriter, having won or placed as a Finalist in the Urbanworld Film Festival five times. She has also either participated in or achieved Finalist status in all the Writing Fellowships in Los Angeles.

Always curious about languages and travel, Pauline has studied French, Spanish, Italian and Japanese. She recently took her ultimate bucket list trip to Istanbul, Turkey.

She works as a copywriter and commercial treatment writer, where her writing is commissioned by the world’s largest production houses and distinguished advertising agencies. Pauline is known by her clients as their personal “idea factory.” She also supports her writing habit by working as a script supervisor.

On Thursday nights you will find her honing her craft in Writer’s Room 5050 classes (). Now residing in Los Angeles, she also works closely with her writing coach, and participates in a very consistent writer’s group. Pauline has several mentees whom she supports consistently.
