Kirk Caouette

Kirk has spent the last 29 years performing, choreographing, and designing action on the worlds biggest studio movies. He was recently the action Previz designer and 2nd stunt coordinator on PREY - which has been nominated for 6 Emmy's. He is also an Auteur Filmmaker, with several awards as a writer/director. He was the head writer of the first $100,000,000 (it was actually 200M) Chinese film ever made. During the strike he has been teaching action design and action camera to other main unit directors and VFX Producers. He is well versed in shooting in volumetric sets and combining them with real sets through Unreal/photogrammetry. A former national award winning actor, he is a unicorn in the stunt industry, being one of the only action directors who knows how to talk to actors and bring out their performances. After John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Extraction, and The Fall Guy, more and more studios realize action designers make phenomenal main unit directors. Kirk is extraordinarily positioned to fill this type of role and looks forward to the opportunity to do so.
