Tori writes comedy, satire, and fiction. She is the 3rd place winner of the Scriptapalooza TV Sitcom category for her Modern Family spec script “Act Like a Girl.” Her one act play “When the Chips Are Down” won the Second City Outside the Box Writer's Contest, and she also had a piece included in the Mary Scruggs Works by Women Festival at Second City in Chicago. Tori’s short fiction has been published in McSweeney's, Monkeybicycle, Atticus Review, Flash Fiction Funny, Cease Cows, and others. Her collection won second place in the Rose Metal Press 10th Annual Short Short Chapbook Contest. Tori has an MFA in Creative Writing from Rosemont College and is a student of the Second City writing workshop.
