Stina McMullin

Stina McMullin is a graduate of Sheridan College International Animation program, Canada (1994). She started her animation career on the feature film Werner 3 (Hahn Film AG, Berlin (1998). She went on to work on many successful TV series, including Simsalagrimm and Wildlife for the same company as well as Nick and Perry Alien Dogs and Karlsson on the Roof (Trickcompany TF), Hamburg, The Fairytaler (A-film, Copenhagen), Da Boom Crew, (BFC, Berlin), The Likeaballs, (Cosgrove Halls Films, Manchester) and A Christmas Carol, (BKN, London)
In 2012 she graduated from GTV (Sweden), a two year course in TV- production, and went on to work on a number of popular Swedish Children’s programs, before deciding to write on a full time basis.

In 2016 she graduated from Alma (Sweden), a one year course in Screen writing, and attended Robert McKee’s STORY seminar in Malmoe (2018).

She is the writer of two published books, one receiving a Swedish National Arts Council Award. National Broadcaster SVT has optioned one of her screenplays. She has received financing from both Reginal ( BOOST Hbg) and National Film Institute (SFI) to to develop other story ideas.

Her main focus lies with writing for young audiences and children.
