My name is Nick Garrett and I am a writer, filmmaker and actor.
My experience includes interning at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and developing a TV show in partnership with Brian Graden Media, led by former Fox and VH1 executive Brian Graden. Together, we pitched a series based on my online videos directly to network executives at MTV and The CW.
I was selected as one of 100 creators nationwide for Ford’s “Fiesta Movement” campaign, where I was given a Ford Fiesta for eight months to feature in a series of original, self-produced videos.
I also wrote, directed, and starred in an award-winning short film, which earned me an invitation to the Filmmatic Film Awards workshop at the Sundance Film Festival.
Additional highlights include a segment appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, winning CitiBank’s nationwide video pitch contest, and earning over 9 million views on my YouTube channel. My work has been featured on Good Morning America, Inside Edition, Tosh.0, and TruTV’s Top 20 Funniest.
Most recently a film I wrote and directed won the Utah 48hr Film Festival and screened at The Chinese Theater in Los Angeles to compete for a spot at Cannes.
I currently write for social media personalities like Jane Williamson and Trey Kennedy.
The Bristlecones Comedy As part of an absurd plot, an elderly man is snatched away from a rest home by his childhood friends and brought to an old-folks community that they have created in order to reunite, share new adventures, and humorously relive their days of adolescence as senior citizens.
