  • Frames: A Handful of Love Stories

Frames: A Handful of Love Stories (2015)
Film (Drama and Romance) Director In a not too distant future, Lane Broderick is interviewed for the "Preservation of Melodrama Project". He tells the tale of meeting the love of his life, Taryn, and the ups and downs that would follow. His entire flashback is depicted through still images, mimicking the way in which our memory works. After a few month together, Taryn is introduced to a family tragedy. This event shifts her mentality and forces her to drift away from Lane. He falls into a deep depression and attempts to kill himself. But right before it occurs, a miracle happens. All is well until the viewer is brought back to the interview. This is when the new technology of the "Avia Daughter" is discussed. Lane refuses to let them use the machine on him and forces the crew to relay information that it already has, leaving him in a depression that he once got away from.
