I'm a 46 year old man from Derby UK, Married with 2 daughters. I've been involved with filmmaking for nearly nine years, I've had a go at every role, from camera operater, DOP, sound recordist, director, editor, scriptwriter, and runner. My philosophy is 'get stuck in to get the job done' and I'll have a go at anything to finish the project.

I am starting to have a go on the other side of the camera now and have acted in a couple of short dramas.

Over the years I have built up a range of production equipment. I have 2 Canon 550D's with a number of prime and zoom lenses as well as filters. I have a track and dolly, Hague Mini-Steadycam, Flycam 5000, a couple of Manfrotto tripods and a 3' jib/crane. I have a Zoom H4 portable digital field recorder, I have a PC with Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects CS4 with various plug ins. I also have another PC with Edius Pro 4 editing software.

I have worked on shorts, both my own and other peoples, features - again both my own and other peoples, corporate videos, how to videos, music videos, wildlife videos, sporting videos - including showjumping, dressage and professional, non-league football (soccer) and documentaries.

I am easy going and really enjoy film making. I like low budget film making because when a problem arises, instead of throwing money around to overcome it, you have to think on your feet and overcome the problem and also utilise your team skills.

I am hoping to network, make new friends and working relationships, gain more experience in film making and get more films made and distributed.
