ABOLITION

SYNOPSIS:
From beyond the grave, a malevolent entity known as Titus has returned. His unholy purpose: to drown a town in blood and chaos. With each brutal murder, Titus inches closer to his ultimate, terrifying goal – the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. In this desperate hour, the unlikely hope of salvation rests on Virgil, a young slave burdened by his own prejudices and fears. He must rise above his inner turmoil and forge a team of disparate individuals to confront the seemingly unstoppable evil that threatens to consume not just their town, but the very nation.

Hey, Anthony McBride. I'm a little confused by "a young slave-hand must battle his inner fears to form a team to uncover a mystery." Does he have to battle his inner fears in order to form a team, then they have to uncover the mystery, then they take down the demon to save his people?

Ok, Anthony McBride. I think "a young slave-hand must battle his inner fears to form a team to uncover a mystery to take down the demon and save his people" needs to be restructured so it's clearer. You use "to" three times, and I think there are too many goals in your logline.
