About Vanessa

Vanessa hails from the UK, carrying a keen sense of european aesthetics. She has enjoyed a life long practice in art & make up from dance performers, fashion and beauty events, therapeutic art, and body painting. She holds a MA in education, taught anatomy at Edinburgh Uni, dance, and professional therapeutic techniques in art and rehabilitation before returning to make up as an art form.

Vanessa is an active member of IATSE Local 706 make up artist and hairstylist Guild , BAFTA, WIF, TV Academy.
During Covid, she gave consultation to BAFTA and the British Film Commission to create the returning to work for film and HETV safety guidelines, then approved by the UK government. She is a HMU judge for the Emmy awards.
