About Fiona
Fiona’s debut novel Being Jimmy Baxter was shortlisted for both the CBCA and the South Australian Literary Awards 2024, and won the Speech Pathology Awards (8 – 10 years). The book was adapted as a theatre-in-education production touring schools with Meerkat Productions.
Fiona worked as a colourist for several years on productions for the 7 network, ABC, the History Channel, SBS and more. She has produced several short films, a TV pilot and writes across several genres. Her current works are focused around writing for children.

Written to highlight that the intense feelings associated with early miscarriage are genuine and should be acknowledged, as well as the helplessness we feel, that as mothers we can't protect all children as we would want to, this is a short powerful film using many local Central Coast NSW artists.
