Born in Hampstead, N. London. Parents moved to Hertfordshire where I found myself living next door to Stanley Kubrick who was my life inspiration. Went into feature film at 21. Worked as a script supervisor on over 40 feature films for studios and indies having had the privilege of working alongside inspirational directors, actors and cinematographers. My first experience of learning about light was when Vittorio Storaro took me around the Prado in Madrid and showed me the Dutch Masters. Studied screenwriting and directing as a mature student at UCLA. Directed my first short THE FISHMONGERS DAUGHTER which debuted at Sundance and received awards w/wide. Recently moved from London to Winchester and have set up The Hampshire Picture Co which is to produce my own work and that of others and to inspire regional graduates of film by encouraging them to attend my Masterclasses and to act as a consultant for those making their first film. My feature film PAST IMPERFECT is about to go into pre production with a view to shooting Feb 2016.
