Trona (2014)

He is joined by his brother Jack, who he hasn't seen in five years. Their efforts at reconciliation are cut short when Tommy's truck dies and they are forced to try and walk 17 miles out of the desert. Sharing their journey with us are Alejandro "Alex" Aldana an undocumented immigrant hipster from Mexico, Brian Pacheco a Salvadoran activist and Berkeley graduate, and Carlos Gomez a Mexican American from South Central Los Angeles who wants to get away from the gang life.
