To whom it may concern:
My name is Tomiya Eastlin and I am interested in the AD or PA position you posted on craigslist. I am very passionate about radio, tv and film and I want to break into the industry any way I can. I have no problem doing any task as there is no task too small for me. I am driven, capable, and highly adaptable to any situation and learn on the job quickly as I want to succeed in my new career path here in Los Angeles.
I started my former career at an accessories company as an intern with no fashion design experience in the Kids and Ladies Hair Accessories division. I later transferred to the Hats division where I quickly rose within the ranks of interns beating out 2 other interns for a temporary position with the company. I accomplished this all within 5 months while having no knowledge of the industry, just a desire to succeed. I was promoted to permanent employee 7 months later. Within 6 months of being a permanent hire, I received a raise based off of my performance review. I do not state this to boast about myself, but merely to demonstrate my drive.
I have experience working on million dollar accounts and working with a myriad of personalities. I recently was 1st AD on a short film and PA on 2 others.
I am the consummate professional with great follow-through and a pleasant demeanor. Once given the opportunity I will show you what I can do. I am capable of working within high stress situations and with a diverse group of people. I will work the hours needed to complete tasks that are deadline driven. I am a fast learner and capable of working independently or within a group setting. I have a clean driver’s license and a valid passport and I am willing to travel domestically and internationally at a moment’s notice. I have a MBA with emphasis in Finance. Once given the opportunity you may count me as one of your most valued asset.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me at (646)544-9849 or email me atTomiya.p.eastlin@. I look forward to hearing from you about the position.
Thank you,
Tomiya Eastlin
