SYNOPSIS:

JAMES AUSTIN is a successful, middle-aged executive who has a wife (DEBBIE), two kids (SAM and TRISTEN), two cats, a dog and a beautiful suburban home outside of New York City. All of this is threatened to be destroyed when James uncovers MIKE DUNCAN’s extra-marital affair on his commute to work. When James and Duncan meet in a benign social setting, Duncan confronts James and violently threatens to ruin his life if he reveals Duncan’s secret. James agrees to not say a word. BRIDGET AUSTIN is in her mid-twenties, James’ daughter from his first wife. She is a strong, independent young woman trying to find her place in life and struggling to break free from her father’s protective instincts. Bridget begins a romantic relationship with Duncan, who poses as a lawyer from Chicago. All goes smoothly until the connection between, James, Duncan and Bridget is revealed. With his dark secret about to be exposed, Duncan takes drastic measures to maintain the cover-up. James won’t have to save the world, but can he save his daughter and himself?
