About Jon

Emmy-winning Writers' Room Alum • Creator Economy Pioneer • Comedy Content Creator

After nearly a decade in TV writers' rooms, including the final two seasons of HBO's VEEP and Season 2 of FOX's animated sitcom HOUSEBROKEN, I've witnessed firsthand how the entertainment landscape is rapidly evolving.

Today, I help creatives navigate this new reality through my Substack newsletter "How Not to be a TV Writer" () and by running LoFi Comedy Collective, where we create sketch comedy that's garnered tens of thousands of views across platforms.

I'm passionate about bridging traditional Hollywood with the creator economy. While I still have a foot in the world of TV, I've discovered that the most exciting opportunities often come from greenlighting yourself and building direct relationships with audiences.

Here to connect with fellow creators, share insights about the changing industry, and collaborate on projects that push boundaries. Whether you're a traditional writer looking to expand into new platforms or a content creator wanting to understand the business side of entertainment, let's talk!

Always looking for talented writers, directors, and performers for LoFi Comedy Collective. If you believe in creating first and asking permission later, message me.
