About Kit

Matthias van der Neut is a german freelance Cinematographer, based in Cape Town. “I am an abstract artist, a concrete analyst, and a ruthless Cinefile!” A few words about myself: I come from a humble background, fell in love with films and dwelled into the motion picture industry, framing my career frame by frame. What is important and matters most, is what is inside the frame. The buzz and noise what comes around creating a beautiful frame is secondary. Every single detail in each shot matters! I don’t consider my work being a job, but a passion, an art. I want to tell the world a story, your story and speak for those who cannot speak. I want to create breathtaking images which tells the world a story. A story that captures the hearts and imaginations of the PEOPLE. I innovate, create, move and shake!
