About Auryn

I met RB Botto at AFF back when Stage 32 was just a baby idea. Which probably dates me—but let’s just call it “industry vintage.” After an extended leave of absence (real life, creative alchemy, a detour through Chinese medicine school), I’m back.

In my prior screenwriting life, I was a Nicholl Quarterfinalist, a PAGE Awards Finalist, a CWA Runner-Up, and a finalist or semifinalist in a number of other competitions I’ve since lost track of. I’ve also had three option offers on original pilots and features.

Today, I write genre-bending, emotionally layered projects that blend science, mysticism, and speculative drama. My most recent work, Connectome: Aetherium Odyssey, is an adult animated series in the vein of Arcane meets The Gilded Age, fusing steampunk, circus intrigue, and quantum consciousness. I believe that we are on the verge of a huge rise in animation due to emerging AI opportunities and new generation's love for animation. (I know it first hand from my husband who used to work for Google and from two teenage kids who desperately want more adult animation like Arcane)

I’m also co-founder of Blue Moon Alchemy, where I develop visionary tools like BudAlchemist, a TCM-inspired terpene app that translates ancient pattern diagnosis into modern cannabis recommendations.

Still telling stories. Just with deeper roots.

Unique traits: Worldbuilding, strong characters, philosophical depth, psychological insight, creative alchemy
