Not only is it Halloween weekend, we'll be performing in two different venues! Doctor Faustus is a celebrated man whose intelligence is only eclipsed by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and power. This quest leads him to a dangerous bargain: he sells his soul to Lucifer for the power to practice the Dark Arts. With Mephistopheles at his side, he becomes a globe-trotting, thrill-seeking celebrity. With a cast of characters that includes Helen of Troy, the Pope, and all Seven Deadly Sins, Christopher Marlowe’s play is sexy, funny, and as relevant as it was when he wrote it 425 years ago. Because of the appearance of demons, this production may not be suitable for younger viewers.
