“Fernando Pacheco has well-deserved credibility as a musician, recording artist, producer and radio personality.” - John Berger, Honolulu Pulse / Jan 13, 2012
Fernando was born and raised on the island of Oahu. Growing up on a dairy, the first thing he wanted to be was a cow. He has not achieved this goal.
While attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa, he began teaching himself to play the trombone. After graduating in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication, he began touring with ska and reggae bands which he still does to this day. Between tours, Fernando has gained experience in radio and live theater.
Although singing with PIMPBOT is his first love, most know Fernando from his “Love Machine” persona on the radio. 105.9 KPOI is his current radio home.
Fernando resides in Honolulu, Hawaii with his wife and daughter. As a freelance writer, his contributions can be found in Island Scene Magazine. He co-founded the Chocolate Squirrel comedy troupe and often performs stand-up.
