Karolina Rum - Film Producer | Film Editor | President of WIFT Poland

Karolina began her film career in Los Angeles, where she graduated with honors at BFA in Filmmaking
at New York Film Academy. She is recognized for her award-winning films „The Stradivari” and „Forbidden Melody”, which have won nine awards, including Best Producer and Best Editing at Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival and Best Producer at Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards.

She has collaborated with CBS Studios, Paramount Digital, AwesomenessTV, MogulMedia, Siren Studios, and Universal Studios.

Additionally, Karolina completed the post-production of a documentary film that reached an audience of 40 million through prime-time broadcasts on Cox Media USA and Discovery Channel TLC in Australia. Her short film „Safe & Sound” amassed 960,000 views on YouTube, while Dudes is available on Amazon Prime.

Karolina's productions have been recognized at more than 20 film festivals worldwide, including „The Stradivari” at the Cannes Film Festival (France), Jecheon Film & Music Festival (South Korea), and Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles (USA); „At Present” at Berlinale/European Film Market (Germany); „Forbidden Melody” at Brazil International Film Festival (Brazil) and the Salento International Film Festival (Italy); and „You Never Know” at the Navi Mumbai International Film Festival (India).

Karolina also co-produced the Norwegian-French-Polish crime drama „One Day In Hadsel”.

She is the founder of Alpha Productions, a production and post-production company dedicated to raising film standards globally. Karolina serves as a member of the international jury for the main feature film competition at the International Film Festival in Cyprus and International Bridges Film Festival in Greece.

Karolina is a certified Green Filming Ambassador, actively promoting ESG practices.

In 2025, Karolina founded a Polish chapter of Women In Film & Television that promotes education, connection and visibility of women in all screen-based media.
