A recent commercial we worked on for Velocity Films, Cape Town. The brief was a motion controlled shot, starting at 6m and jibbing down to follow the production line and end on a pair of shoes. The move was under motion control to enable the factory workers and tables to be duplicated. It was also run at a very slow frame rate to get that time-lapse effect of frenetic factory activity. The rig we used for this job was the Graphlite from Pacific Motion in Los Angeles which with the extension arm gave the required 18 foot lens height.

The first in a series of 2 commercials shot for MNET, the satellite TV operator in South Africa. A lot went into the production of this...we were teamed up with post production experts Black Ginger and production company Shy the Sun, and spent 3 weeks in a dark studio developing and shooting the spots.
