About Quentin

Quentin Yung is a writer and comic book creator who has a number of film and television projects in funded development with support from the UK's Climate Spring and the Australian-Indian Anjana Productions.

His screenwriting, recommended by the Black List, has generated industry interest in Hollywood. He was selected as a finalist for the Hollywood Climate Summit’s Writing Climate Pitchfest sponsored by NBCUniversal, and his screenplays have been accepted for submission by Warner Bros, Disney and 20th Century Studios.

With literary representation in Australia, Quentin has worked in the writers’ room of an Australian-Chinese television co-production in development and is leading a writers' room for an Australian-Indian television series that he co-created.

As a former environmental engineer, Quentin is passionate and knowledgeable about climate storytelling that entertains broad audiences. He is currently undertaking a Master's Degree in Screenwriting at AFTRS, Australia's premier film school, and is researching how the worldbuilding and collective journeys of transmedia storytelling can be applied to climate fiction.

Quentin also advised on Good Energy’s Climate Screenwriting Playbook, an initiative sponsored by CAA Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
