The first webisode of The Off Season. As The Tigers wrap up the 2013 season, it is now time to start over and begin preparing for the next fall. Episode 1 gives us a glimpse into the high intensity workout regiment of late winter, as well as some thoughts from head coach Dabo Sweeney on the mentality of starting over. The goal of this video was to instill a sense of pride in Clemson Football fans, players and recruits, without taking on a pompous attitude or detracting from any other football programs. The voiceover is by College Hall of Famer Jeff Davis whose 1982 championship team can be seen in the video proudly putting on their helmets at the top of The Hill, as well as celebrating after a big play. Star receiver Sammy Watkins is featured in the transition from practice to the game time opportunity as he finishes a 95 yard touchdown play against UVA.
