Thor Gold is an award-winning director of webisodes and short films who specializes in creating quality work on miniscule budgets. Born in New York City, lived in London, Greece, Denmark and Los Angeles, Gold worked as an assistant director, assistant editor, actor and directing coach for such filmmakers and actors as James Franco, Robin Williams, Ben Affleck, Roger Corman, Rodney Dangerfield, Adrianne Palicki, Jim Carrey, Jonathan Winters, and Gregory Nava. His short films have screened at many film festivals around the world, including Cannes, Hollyshorts and Raindance. His short “Double Trouble” is part of the Film Studies curriculum at UCSB.
