About Ron

My long and successful career as a freelance writer, archivist and university professor gives me a deep understanding and knowledge of writing, research, deadlines, storytelling and structure. His 35 published books have garnered many writing awards. Three of them ( true crime) have been optioned for movies. His radio show, Crime Beat with Ron Chepesiuk, has aired in 130 plus countries since January, 2011 (see .htm).

As a documentary producer and director, his documentary, “The Frank Matthews Story,” has been licensed for viewing by the Discovery Channel. As an expert in crime, Ron has appeared as a talking head on numerous TV channels, including Biography, Discovery, ID, History, Black Entertainment, TV1, Starz and NBC Dateline, among others.
