This is the signature on the chart, rotated 90 degrees. It now resembles a birds' profile......with its' chest missing. While the X or cross above it resembles a mountain or peak, showing 4 poins on the compass!
Why did the author put this chart, with an obviously apparent different signature to an enclosed copy of a letter written and signed by Capt. Kidd in the same book.?
Can you see the figure, entering a cave??
The true signature of Capt William Kidd, as shown at the bottom of his letter.! Differs beyond imagination to the signature on the chart!
