I've written 5 prize-winning screenplays (but no sales so far), 5 non-fiction books (one, "The Annotated Mona Lisa" a best-seller) on art, architecture, & literature. I contribute criticism (on art & theater) to the Christian Science Monitor and have written for the NY Times, Wall St. Journal, Washington Post, etc. My historical novel set in 6th-century Constantinople (a love story between Emperor and Empress of Byzantium) brings to life a scandalous and little-known couple reviled as sinners and worshiped as saints. "The Eagle and the Swan" would make a great mini-series. Theodora leaves Cleopatra in the dust. twitter: @carolartbeat
