Bob Madia

I love to write. I am not interested in directing or acting (you can ask my high school drama teacher about my acting abilities...atrocious). However, I'm not afraid of the stage or public speaking. I love doing comedy, especially improv (I've done stand-up but that is really tough work). I speak frequently at libraries and schools (mostly about writing and my lifelong interest in Sherlock Holmes and his creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle). I am also the resident expert on Holmes for radio talk show host Nick DiGilio on WGN radio in Chicago. I specialize in horror, mystery and suspense for adult audiences and I also do adventure and Faith-based scripts for families to enjoy. I am mainly looking to work locally with Chicagoland film makers but most of my success has been on the coasts.
