As the author of Deaf Jeff: The Blaring Heartthrob, I explored disability, accessibility, independence, and belonging through the experiences of a protagonist navigating hearing loss and stroke-related impairments. The work strengthened my ability to understand diverse audience needs, identify points of friction, and communicate complex human experiences in ways that foster empathy and engagement—skills directly applicable to creating exceptional member experiences within advertising-supported ecosystems.
