When mind-controlling aliens invade Earth and turn humanity against itself, a group of struggling alcoholics discover that the mind-altering effects of alcohol make them immune — transforming society’s outcasts into the planet’s last hope.

Short Pitch: Humanity is unprepared when mysterious aliens arrive and begin manipulating people’s minds, pushing governments and militaries into chaos and self-destruction. Cities collapse, communication fails, and civilization rapidly falls apart.

Amid the ruins, an unlikely truth emerges: individuals heavily affected by alcohol remain untouched. The aliens’ control relies on stable neural patterns — but the mind-altering effects of alcohol disrupt their influence, making certain addicts unexpectedly immune.

Across different countries, a handful of broken, flawed individuals — each battling addiction, loss, and regret — realize they can fight back. Armed with improvised weapons and dark humor, they begin resisting the invaders while struggling with their own personal demons.

As these reluctant survivors move toward one another, they form an unconventional team, discovering that the very weakness that once destroyed their lives may now be humanity’s only chance.
