SYNOPSIS:
In a quiet residential neighborhood, subtle biological anomalies begin surfacing inside an ordinary home. Water behaves strangely. Walls grow warm. A neighbor, Phil, starts to feel “not entirely here.” What initially appears to be psychological unease gradually reveals a structured biological presence operating alongside human life. Molly, a painter who recently moved into the house, becomes the first to truly notice the shift. After a disturbing encounter above a market and a series of escalating incidents, physical evidence enters her world: a sealed glass vessel containing a living organic form. The discovery confirms that something non-human has been reproducing quietly within human space — not as an invasion, but as part of a parallel ecosystem. This hidden system is protected by ancient guardians — beings who exist adjacent to humanity, maintaining a fragile protective dome that separates layers of reality. Within this structure, reproduction is not random but selective. Phil becomes directly involved in a process that alters his perception and biology, forcing Molly to confront the possibility that she, too, has been chosen. As the phenomena intensify, the existence of a larger threat emerges. A stone-and-metal intelligence known as Grun observes from beyond the protective barrier. While the hidden ecosystem seeks continuity and balance, Grun seeks rupture. The birth of two Lactimols — rare and symbolically tied to ecological renewal — marks a turning point. The protective dome destabilizes. Orders are issued from the other side. What began as domestic unease evolves into the opening movement of an ecological war — not for domination, but for coexistence. LACTIMOLS is an atmospheric limited series exploring selection, care, biological intelligence, and the unseen systems shaping human existence.
