Tom Gibbons's Reel

Yaatra is an audiovisual essay documenting my trip to Northern India in 2020. Together with long-time friend and photographer Christian Schalch I set out to immerse myself into Indian culture and capture the essence of the encounters we made along the way. Yaatra - A Journey North, is not a documentary, but rather a postcard home and an homage to the many people we met during our trip. Karel Sabbe spent his childhood summers hiking in the wilderness.
