SYNOPSIS:

This period drama limited series is based on the life story of mob wife Anna Genovese, who was married to notorious crime boss Vito Genovese. Anna used her husband’s connections to open the early professional and glamorous Drag Night Clubs she owned from 1939 to the late 1960s. However, her road to power seemed like an easy one, but sadly it was not. When Anna decided to own her business independently, Vito did everything to pull away from her success. By using fear, intimidation, and even abuse fearing, Anna became too powerful. But Anna wouldn’t give up easily. Anna hits back by exposing Vito’s criminal activities in Open Court, the first time any mob wife abandoned the Code of Camorra to go against their untouchable mafia boss.
