SYNOPSIS:
In New York, 1935, EUNICE HUNTON CARTER finally gets her big break after Thomas E. Dewey handpicks her as the first black woman prosecutor. However, Dewey sidelines Eunice in investigating prostitution-related cases due to gender bias. While on the job, Eunice gathers mounting evidence from a diverse set of clients and begins to connect the breadcrumbs of various brothels, two mob lawyers, and a dirty cop, which unravels a large-scale organized prostitution ring called the Combination backed by the New York Mafia. But she is treated as invisible, causing her to fight back to prove that there is an organized crime boss over the Combination.
