"If you could drop whatever you're doing and work at your dream career, what would it be?"
I can't recall when or where this question was asked, but the answer stuck with me for a longtime. Making movies is that dream career. I just find it mind-boggling that I didn't really get the ball rolling in that direction. Years have gone by, but, if 2020 taught me anything, it's that life is too short and the crap can hit the fan out of nowhere. I don't want to be on my death bed regretting the moves I didn't make or the connections I never cultivated. I want to seize the opportunities that are available to me or create them, even if I have kick down some doors in the process.
I'm still a freelance artist of many disciplines (illustration, concept art, storyboards, y mas), but I'm switching my main focus and planting my flag as a filmmaker.
