Mari Bengston This sounds like it leans even harder into the chaotic adventure/comedy energy of the first story, but with a more international and fast-moving setup. The “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” comparison immediately creates a fun sense of momentum and escalating disasters.

What makes it interesting is that beneath the action-comedy framing, it still sounds emotionally motivated. Son and Pops chasing after Dylan suggests the story is really about relationships, pride, loyalty, and unfinished emotional business disguised as a wild road-trip pursuit.

Felix also feels like the kind of larger-than-life rival character that could create a lot of comedic tension depending on how exaggerated or dangerous you make him.

The father-son pairing again seems to be the heart of it though. Stories like this usually work best when the chaos constantly reveals deeper truths about the characters rather than just becoming random set pieces.

Definitely feels like a sequel that embraces bigger scale, bigger movement, and even more unpredictability.
