A brilliant white hat hacker has spent his life protecting the United States from threats. As he prepares for marriage and retirement, one last assignment for the CIA pulls him into the dark world of CIA covert operations, assassins, black hat hackers, a vicious terrorist organization and a maniacal secret society hell bent on creating worldwide chaos to bring about the apocalypse. He will have to use every skill he possesses to save the country and the people he loves.

SYNOPSIS:

Robert Duchovny works for a secretive government agency known as the Intelligence, Investigation and Security Agency (IISA). Robert’s plan to retire and marry the woman of his dreams is thwarted when he is asked by the CIA to go on a mission to copy data from Achojah Okonkwo, a terrorist’s, computer. Robert agrees. However, the mission is a trap by Achojah and a secret society, the Malʾakh, to kidnap him and force him to work for them.

Louka Stojanović, a CIA assassin and Malʾakh convert, is tasked with abducting Robert on the mission, but fails. Robert returns to the US with Achojah’s computer. Robert starts to successfully compromise the computer so his adversaries take desperate action. Using Sarah Levy, Robert’s girlfriend, as a pawn, the Mal’akh frame Robert for a brutal attack on her causing him to go on the run. Robert meets Maria Lim, a CIA handler and Loukas ex-girlfriend, and discovers that the Mal’akh, Achojah, Louka and a black hat hacker named Dragonfyre are behind the cyberattacks on the CIA and the setup of Robert.

Robert embarks on a mission to discover why he was framed while also trying to crack the encryption on Achojah’s computer to unearth the terrorist’s plans. He also creates a dangerous AI program to counter the terrorist’s program, which he calls Pandora. Along the way he recruits Maria Lim, Paulo Santos, a former CIA asset, Aaron Levy, a police officer and Sarah’s brother, Abdullah Abdallah, an elite black hat hacker and Nicholas Hobbs, a private investigator. Robert and his team find out Paulo’s daughter was kidnapped by the Mal’akh, forcing Paulo to frame Robert. Robert and the team undergo a bold plan to get Paulo’s daughter back which is successful.

Robert cracks Achojah’s computer and discovers the first attacks on the US are set to occur the following day. Robert is cleared of wrongdoing and rushed back to the US. With terrorist bombings and chaos unfolding across the country, Robert finally discovers the Pandora program is a digital suicide bomber and the Mal’akh are using the supercomputer at the NSA to control Pandora. Robert and a small team travel to the NSA where they are met by Louka and armed Mal’akh clerics. A gun battle ensues, but Robert and his team reach the brain of the supercomputer. Using his new AI creation, Robert successfully thwarts an attempt to detonate more bombs. However, his AI program becomes self-aware and tries to gain more knowledge before Robert kills it. After successfully shutting down the threat, Robert calls Sarah, but doesn’t tell her he loves her because of concerns for her safety. Louka wakes up at a Mal’akh temple where he is murdered for his failures. The Mal’akh plan their next move.
