When a grieving mother and her daughter stumble into a world haunted by a malevolent entity that thrives on silence, they discover their only weapon is sound itself — forcing them to turn noise into survival, rebellion, and salvation.
SYNOPSIS:
In the aftermath of a mysterious global collapse, silence has become deadly. A supernatural entity — known only by its tapping, whispering presence — hunts anyone who dares to fall quiet. Entire towns have been swallowed, their people erased, leaving only the echo of fingers tapping in the dark.
Mia, a scarred survivor still haunted by the loss of her husband, struggles to protect her young daughter Ellie in this new order. They wander through devastated landscapes, scavenging what little remains, until whispers find them. The entity marks Mia, embedding a pulsing “glow” inside her chest, a rhythmic reminder of its grip.
Desperate to shield Ellie, Mia hides the truth and teaches her that silence means death — but not in the way the old world believed. Here, survival demands sound. Whispers grow louder in stillness, and only noise drives them back.
When Mia discovers Ellie has inherited the glow, their bond is tested in terrifying ways. At first, Ellie’s only defense is a lullaby, a song her father once sang. To Mia’s shock, the child’s fragile melody pushes the entity back. Ellie’s voice becomes a weapon. But the more she sings, the more attention she draws — not just from the entity, but from the shadows that worship it.
The mother-daughter duo stumble into a hidden valley settlement where survivors live in fearful quiet. Mia challenges their rules, teaching them noise can fight back. Ellie’s song inspires the community, turning children’s games and voices into defiant acts of resistance. But when the entity rises in full, manifesting as a towering skeletal form of shadows and endless fingers, the settlement faces annihilation.
In a climactic battle, Mia and Ellie combine their voices — her scream, Ellie’s lullaby — to shatter the creature’s hold. Though the entity retreats, its whispers never vanish. Mia realizes this war is generational. Her daughter now carries the spark, louder and stronger than she ever was.
The film ends with Ellie standing at the watchtower of the settlement, leading survivors in a chorus of sound. Their defiant noise echoes across the valley, pushing back darkness. For now. But far beyond the hills, shadows stir.
NOISE is a visceral, “noisy” horror feature in the tradition of Get Out, Lights Out, Weapons, M3GAN, and Sinners. A fast-paced, high-concept narrative with relentless escalation, it explores generational trauma, maternal protection, and the power of voice — literally — against encroaching silence.

That's pretty good B. E. Davis. I would suggest adding some stakes to create intensity as well as a goal. It should be obvious that it's survival but is there something specific they must accomplish in order to survive. Using noise is simply the tool to achieve that goal.
