Juliana Philippi's Reel

Some tidbits of some outtakes of shooting, designing and acting in my short film, "Maid Dances", shot entirely with a one crew, once cast team: me. Talking to myself, calling shots, and staying in the moment.

This is a short film about Ada, a maid, going about her work, tired, disheartened, and a bit sad, when suddenly...as she puts in her headphones, and starts to listen to music, her imagination takes on a life of its own, and uplifts her day from drudgery, and a mechanical existence, to that of a free, alive, full, beautiful woman, happy, owning the moment, reminded that life, is what you make of it...so, dance.
