I am Giorgio Magliulo, born on December 12, 1958, in Naples, Italy. My passion for cinema has shaped my career as a filmmaker, producer, cinematographer, and screenwriter. I graduated in arts and cinema in Bologna, laying the foundation for my work in the film industry. Over the years, I have contributed to several notable films, including Una casa in bilico (1986), We Believed (2010), The Black Sheep, Cosimo and Nicole, and Libero (Along the Ridge).
My role as a producer on We Believed, directed by Mario Martone, was particularly rewarding, as the film won the David di Donatello award for best film in 2011, among other honors. I have a deep connection to Ireland and India, which influences my perspective and work. My daughter, Carolina De Lillo Magliulo, is an architect, and I take pride in balancing my creative pursuits with my personal life. Cinema remains my driving force, and I continue to explore storytelling through my craft.
