I’m Maika Hara, a Japanese actor based in Toronto and Tokyo.
I've appeared in over 50 film and TV productions, starting with Switching – Goodbye Me by Nobuhiko Obayashi (House). I trained in English acting with Tori, a respected coach who studied under Larry Moss.
Recently, I played the lead in an English/Japanese animated feature inspired by post-earthquake stories.
With kimono dressing skills and a youthful look, I bring authenticity and range to both modern and period roles.
Unique traits: I have professional training in kimono dressing
